MTAFL RULES CONDENSED VERSION

Registration of Players, this must be done in accordance with FAW guidance and within the COMET system and players on the system

Scoring of Points, see rule 4 and be aware of the way divisions are decided.

Ineligible Players, covered in rules 6 & 7

Arrangement of Games, it is the responsibility of the home club to contact the visiting club and match official 5 days prior to the game to confirm the fixture. Full details covered in rule 15

Team Sheets, these should be completed through the COMET system guidance and clubs should ensure that they have used the correct training provided on-line. Please check if referee details have changed since the fixtures were issued.

Substitutes, in adult games 5 substitutes can be names and five played but not on a rolling subs basis, see rule 9

Not Fulfilling Games, see rule 11.

Colours, should there be a clash of colours it is the home team that must change unless clubs both agree differently, see rule 12

Referee’s, see rule 13 The fee for referee’s is £30 in adult games and both sides pay half each but it is the responsibility of the home team to collect the payment and pay the referee before the game commences.

Misconduct, see rule 22, clubs need to be fully aware of this rule.

Cup Competitions, see rules 30, 35,36, 37 & 38

General Guidance, it is the responsibility of the home team to ensure that the dressing room facilities are clean and rubbish is removed. If there are any issues with the field/dressing rooms then they should be reported to me on 07771697928 or preferably by e-mail and where needed photographs should be taken.
